Making Digital Finance Work for Women
On Tuesday 16 June for Inspiring Women Leaders, we are thrilled to welcome Chloé Gueguen, who is Financial Inclusion Regional Lead at Arab Women’s Enterprise Fund!
Chloé Gueguen is a gender finance specialist and a relentless advocate for leveraging Fintech innovations to create meaningful solutions for low-income people, especially underprivileged women. As Regional Lead of the Arab Women’s Entreprise Fund (AWEF)’s Financial Inclusion Program, Chloé works with fintech pioneers to design gender-smart digital financial services (DFS), focusing on catalyzing women’s economic empowerment opportunities in MENA. In Egypt, she led on the launch of ‘Heya Fawry’, the very first female e-payment agent network, in partnership with Fawry, a 25-million users e-payment platform.
For this session, Chloé will present:
- Key lessons from AWEF’s latest Learning Brief to discuss about the opportunities to make digital finance work better for low-income women in the MENA region
- How digital finance is useful both to female consumers and female entrepreneurs
- Share insights on her recently published report about the digital finance innovation happening in the MENA region
